Hiroyuki Tsuchida began his career as a software engineer, then worked in internal audit and GRC consulting at PwC and Deloitte. He went on to lead internal audit at a globally operating tech startup, and most recently served as CEO of a Silicon Valley-based consulting firm developing AI-powered internal audit and GRC solutions. In 2026 he founded Polarys & Company, an AI-native internal audit and GRC firm.
His focus is AI × internal audit and the audit of overseas subsidiaries. He is the author of “The AI-Driven Internal Audit” (US), and a Japanese-language book on internal audit in the AI era publishes in October 2026. He runs the internal audit community IA Insight Lab, publishing daily, and works to connect American internal audit thinking with the practice of Japanese companies.
